Vincent Francoual is an extremely talented French chef. He spent many years working as a sous chef under the world renowned Eric Ripert (Le Bernardin). Fortunately, for the Minnesota food scene, his wife was transferred here For work. Now, Vincent Francoual is sharing his talents with Minneapolis. In Minnesota, everyone has an opinion on where to get the best burger. The Vincent Burger is definitely in my top 3. It is a burger stuffed with braised beef short ribs and smoked gouda; a more upscale take on the “Juicy Lucy.” In the picture I posted, I subbed the regular fries for the poutine. A poutine is french fries smothered in rich, beef gravy and cheese curds. I will say the regular fries with béarnaise are excellent. Either way you can’t go wrong. Whether you are in the mood for some traditional french food or a delicious burger you can’t go wrong.
