Bar La Grassa is the best Italian restaurant in Minnesota. The thing I appreciate the most about it is the fact that there is no baked ziti or lasagna. The techniques of their dishes are authentic but they like to put their own twist on everything. Chef Issac Becker of 112 eatery has done it again. I have eaten here a handful of times and never been disappointed. Some of my favorite dishes so far include: soft eggs and lobster bruscetta, white anchovy and avocado bruscetta, spiced carpaccio, charred red onion and goat cheese bruscetta, chicken liver mousse bruscetta, mushroom and taleggio agnolotti, gnocchi with cauliflower and orange.
